Huch, ein rosa Pferd - überhaupt ist hier was falsch, oder ... ?

Schaut mal, ein rosa Ellwanger Pferd. So oft muss ich da schon dran vorbeigelaufen sein, um (am liebsten weiche) Post wegzubringen, diese Woche hab ichs zum ersten Mal gesehen. Es gehört zu einem Spielplatz. Man sollte doch öfter mal genau hingucken.
Many times I walked by this pink horse carrying my mail to the p.o., this week I noticed it for the first time. It belongs to a children's playground. I really should be more attentive to my surroundings.

Von meinen Pflegekätzchen mach ich ja auch dauernd Fotos, hmmm, aber a propos genau hinsehen, irgendwas ist hier doch auch komisch, oder? Ein kleines Rätsel zum Wochenende ;-) - und ich wünsche euch ein schönes solches.

Endlich mal wieder ... ein Pferd ;-)

Endlich zeig ich euch mal wieder ein Ellwanger Pferdchen ... wollte die Reihe ja nicht eines so brutalen Todes sterben lassen wie dieses arme Pferdchen hier, das leider von Vandalen zerstört, aber zumindest würdig beerdigt wurde.


At last another one of the horses in my town - a pity it died at the hands of vandals, but at last was buried with dignity.

Alte und neue Leidenschaften

Das Pferdchensuchen macht großen, Spaß, ich gehe auf einmal nicht mehr so unaufmerksam durch die Stadt und entdecke Dinge, an denen ich schon 1000mal blind vorbeigelaufen bin. Dieses Pferdchen steht vor der Wolfgangskirche, die ewig eingerüstet war.
I love searching for all the horses in my town, I see new things all the time, even if I have seen them a thousand times already. This horse stands in front of a church which was under renovation for a loooooong time.

Das Kinderdorf Marienpflege hatte am Sonntag Sommerfest, die Therapiepferde stehen bei uns im Stall, deshalb haben wir fürs Fest das Ponyreiten angeboten, und bei sowas helfe ich doch gerne! Der Andrang war groß, und die "Kinder" aus allen Altersstufen *grins*
On sunday there was the big summer party from the "Marienpflege", a insitution for children from difficult surroundings. We offered horseriding, and I liked to help. We were crowded with "children" of all ages *lol*.

Der Taschenvirus hat mich jetzt wohl gepackt, ich habe am Wochenende gleich noch eine genäht, nach diesem Prinzip. Kommt euch der Stoff irgendwie bekannt vor? Habt ihr so eine ähnliche Tasche schon gesehen? Ich freu mich schon auf gemeinsames Taschenausführen, Heidi!
Well, it seems I now got the bag-sewing virus at last. I sewed another bag this weekend, the idea is from this blog. I'm looking forward to when our bags will go out together, Heidi!

Pferdegrüße aller Art

Dieses Pferdchen wirft seinen Schatten an einem von Ellwangens Ortseingängen.
This horse throws it's shadow where you drive into the town of Ellwangen.

Auch sonst hatte ich ein "pferdisches" Wochenende. War selber Reiten, mit vielen Pferdebremsen (brrrr...) und einem ungeplanten Abstieg - auf den Füßen gelandet, aber Schulter gezerrt und natürlich trotzdem weitergeritten ...
Und es gab was zu gucken, die Süddeutschen Meisterschaften im Islandpferdereiten. Beim Mitternachtstölt am Samstag gabs die phantasievollsten Kostüme, und tagsüber habe ich zum ersten Mal den Rennpass sehen können.
I had a very "horsy" weekend, went riding and left the horseback unplanned - landed on my feet, but the shoulder protested, but I rode on, of course ...
Then there were championships in icelandic riding, saturday evening one could see phantastic costumes and by day the specialties of icelandic horses.

Pferdegeschmäcker sind natürlich verschieden .... (can't translate this properly, sorry)

Schon am Freitag bekam ich von Heidi diese wunderbare Nachurlaubs-Pferde-GeburtstagsAMC, zusammen mit einem wunderbaren Notizbuch in meiner Lieblingsfarbe - vielen Dank, Heidi!
On Friday already I got this great horse-after-holidays-birthday-card from Heidi, together with a beautiful notebook in my favourite colour, thanks a lot!

Ellwanger Pferde ... und andere Tiere wünschen schöne Pfingsten

Dieses Pferdchen hat Glück, es muss nicht so alleine herumstehen - es gehört zur Apotheke Goldender Fuchs.
This horse is lucky, it isn't so alone and belongs to the pharmacy called "golden fox".

Katzen sind ja eigentlich keine Vegetarier, aber meine haben doch sehr interessiert an den Eisbergsalaten herumgemacht.
Cats normally don't eat vegetables, do they? But my three are very interested in these lettuces.

Also, Katzen raus aus der Küche, und nur 3 Stunden und 15 Eisbergsalate, 2 Kilo Möhren und 6 Bund Radieschen später habe ich eine Waschwanne voll Salat ... leb ich soooo gesund? Neee, das ist für die Pfingsthocketse im Reitstall.
So I had to throw them all out of the kitchen, and three hours later I had this much salad ... am I going to live very healthy and eat all this? Of course not, it's for the party this evening at the riding stable.

Katerchen frisst noch die Möhrenschalen aus dem Komposteimer ... leicht gaga ...
My cat eats the leftovers from the carrots ... he's a little crazy ...

So, ich geh jetzt Salat ausliefern und feiern und wünsche euch eine wunderschönes langes Pfingstwochenende.

Ellwanger Pferde ... und andere Tierchen

Dieses Pferdchen mag ich besonders, es gehört zur Zeitung und ist mit Karikaturen übersät (die allerdings auch nicht mehr ganz aktuell sind ;-) )
This is a horse I like a lot, it's from the local newspaper and has cartoons all over it.


Und diesen entli-Schutzengel hab ich für Silvia zum Geburtstag gemacht, ich hoffe mal, er macht seinen Job gut.
And this duck-guardian-angel I made for the duck-loving Silvia, I hope it is good at it's job.

Ellwanger Pferde

Dieses Ellwanger Pferdchen gehört zur Elch-Apotheke
This horse stands in front of the shop called "moose-pharmacy".

Hier zusammen mit weiteren Ellwanger Pferden, nämlich der sonntäglichen Ellwanger Droschkenlinie.
Here you can see it together with some more horses of Ellwangen, with them you can drive through the town each sunday.

Ansonsten haben wir gestern einen Riesen-Frühjahrsputz im Reitstall gemacht, gut 10 Leute waren den ganzen Tag bschäftigt - und ich hab meine Kamera vergessen :-(((( - das hätte sonst einige tolle Bilder gegeben! Heute noch Reiten und einiges Vorbereiten für nächste Woche - jetzt bin ich platt, und genäht wird wohl heute nicht mehr.
Yesterday we made a big big cleaning-action in the stable, about ten persons were hard-working the whole day - and I forgot my camera :-(((( - there would have been so many great motifs. Today I went riding and prepared some things for the next week, and now I'm exhausted, no sewing this weekend.

I welcome you into the new month may with a picture of the may-pole in front of the main church in my town Ellwangen.

Im Jahr 2000 gab es eine nette Aktion für die pferdebegeisterte Stadt Ellwangen. Viele Geschäfte und Organisationen bekamen je ein identisches Plastikpferd und haben es dann passend gestaltet. Die Pferde stehen immer noch überall in der Stadt, dieses hier ist mir heute zusammen mit dem Maibaum vor der Basilika mal wieder ins Auge gefallen - ich zeig euch mal in der nächsten Zeit noch ein paar andere, sie sind sehr orginell.
In the year 2000 there was a great action in the horse-loving town of Ellwangen: Many stores and groups all got one of the identical plastic horses and designed it to their liking. The horses are still standing all over town, and I remembered that when I photographed the may-pole and this horse in front of the church. So I will show you some more of these horses in the future, they are very original.
