Brandgefährlich

Ellwangen hatte irgendwie eine blöde Woche - es gab einen Riesenbrand in der Innenstadt, nur ein paar Straßen von mir entfernt. Wenn ihrs sehen wollt, schaut hier. Erst vor ein paar Jahren ist das Haus bei mir direkt gegenüber komplett abgebrannt. Mhhmm, nicht wirklich beruhigend ... zum Glück ist niemandem etwas passiert.

Außerdem kam meine Reitlehrerin kürzlich abends nochmal in den Stall, weil sie etwas vergessen hatte, und musste feststellen, dass irgendwelche Jungs eingedrungen waren und die Pferde schon völlig verschreckt hatten. Was die wirklich vorhatten, ist nicht festzustellen, sie wurden ja unterbrochen. Leider gibts immer mal auch Brandstiftung in Ställen ... und wie das immer so ist, solange nix passiert ist, kann man gegen solche Leute nicht viel unternehmen.

Also drück ich die Daumen, dass es keine weiteren solchen Nachrichten gibt. Sorry, ein ganz bildloser post, aber das wollte auch mal raus.

This wasn't a very good week here in Ellwangen. There was a big fire in the town center, only a few streets from where I live. If you want to see, look here. Only a few years ago the house directly across from me burnt down completely. Not very reassuring ... thank god nobody got hurt.

Also my riding teacher returned to the stable one night to fetch something she had forgotten and found that some guys had intruded and quite upset the horses. What they had really planned to do there one can't know because they were interrupted ... sometimes there is arson in stables, too ... and as always, as long as nothing happens, there isn't much you can do against these guys exept being watchful.

So I hope there won't be any more news like that. Sorry, a post completely without pictures, but that just wanted to be told.
